Tina Giorgadze

About me

I'm a Ph.D. candidate in the Statistics Department at Columbia University, with a prospective graduation date of 2028. I hold an M.Phil. and M.A. in Statistics from Columbia, and a B.A. in Computer Science and Mathematics from Bard College. My research focuses on statistical methods for understanding copy-number variation from single-cell DNA sequencing data in cancer, combining simulation-based Bayesian inference with statistical learning for settings where the underlying likelihood is difficult to compute.
