I’ve been teaching math and computer science in some capacity since 2016. I started as a volunteer homework helper at my local library, then worked as an SAT math tutor at a test-prep center. Throughout college I served as a course tutor for four years, and I now lead statistics recitations as a teaching assistant at Columbia University.

TA responsibilities

  • Hold weekly office hours and facilitate recitations
  • Lead short lectures and problem-solving sessions
  • Prepare homework solutions and grade assignments/exams
  • Answer questions on course forums and during review sessions
  • Offer feedback on projects and statistical communication
